The GLP Board-Leadership Partnership Assessment Suite (all rights reserved) is a linked suite of tools to ensure effective planning, evaluation, and feedback to support both Leadership evaluation (Heads, CEOs or Executive Directors), Board assessment, as well as effective collaboration and shared purpose.

We offer these tools as a suite because we have found that when assessment processes are aligned, the board-leader partnership is strengthened, and governance deepens its understanding of institutional performance as a function of both Head and Board performance .

Frequently, our clients opt for a longitudinal approach to support the continuous development of leadership and governance year-over-year. GLP will work with you to custom design a process and cycle for ongoing evaluation to meet your needs and aims.

Each Board and/or Leadership Assessment Includes: 

  • Articulation of goals and criteria—short-term and long-term—to be assessed, as crafted in partnership with client

  • Custom Assessment Survey design, administration (with client support), and data analysis 

  • Summary report with insights and recommendations

  • Debrief discussion (1 hour) following submission of Summary Report

  • Our bespoke tools seek meaningful evidence, qualitative and quantitative feedback, and analytics that are objectively produced by a third party with extensive knowledge of high performance in schools and not-for-profits. As a neutral third party, we can observe, reflect back, and help you make sense of data while protecting confidentiality and avoiding the perilous impacts of anonymity.
